Pervious Concrete Contractor Certification and Exam
The Concrete & Aggregates Association of Louisiana (CAAL) is the local sponsoring group providing the Pervious Concrete Contractor Certification. The goal of this certification program is to ensure that knowledgeable contractors are selected to place the product and thereby minimize the chance for failure. This certification has been developed by the NRMCA and will be an important advantage for anyone interested in this expanding market.
Course Content: Fundamentals of Pervious Concrete, Mixtures and Production, General Design Principles, Preparation, Placing and Finishing, Maintenance and Troubleshooting and Checklists for planning, design & construction.
The seminar will be from 8:30am to 12:30pm followed by lunch. The review will begin at 1:00pm followed by the exam. Participants will be given up to two hours to take the exam. Exam participants should register as early as possible to receive the Pervious Concrete Contractor Certification Textbook prior to the seminar to review and study for the exam. Seating is limited.
