The Concrete & Aggregates Association of Louisiana (CAAL) is hosting this event in conjunction with the American Concrete Pumpers Association (ACPA) and the National Ready Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA). We invite you and your Safety Manager to join us for dinner on Monday evening and the seminar on Tuesday morning. This seminar for the ready mixed concrete industry teaches its participants about SAFETY and compliance. It begins with why safety is so important and details the reasons why an effective safety program actually saves money through loss prevention and control. For the pumpers, you will learn to increase pumping safety effectiveness, operator awareness, increase efficiency, decrease job accidents, and improve your company's reputation with your customer base. Mix Design: Pumpable concrete, like conventional concrete, requires good quality control, i.e., uniform, properly graded aggregate with materials uniformly batched and mixed thoroughly. This seminar covers best mix design and construction practices for successful pumping of concrete.
Speakers: Gary Brown is President of the ACPA and an employee of RL McCoy, a bridge construction and concrete pumping company in Indianapolis, IN.
Gary Mullings is Executive Vice President of Operations and Compliance at NRMCA. Registration Form
